Unit 11 · Fruity Puppy Outlet Mall
Freshwater, saltwater, and a back tunnel that stays dark all day. Some of what's in here is for sale. Some of it is just here.
Step insideInside
Tanks on both walls the whole way down.
The oscar has outlived three tankmates and the sign still says community. Nobody has changed the sign. The goldfish are not stock.
Feeding is at four. It takes about nine seconds and people plan their afternoon around it.
The tunnel
Lights stay low back here. The glass is thicker than it looks and the sign asks you not to tap it, which people read as a suggestion.
The gentleman in the coat is not staff. He does not work here and he is not authorized to discuss anything with customers.
He has been asked to leave the mall. He keeps coming back to this store specifically, which management finds harder to explain than the rest of it.
If he leans in and starts talking, walk toward the register.
Cameras are run by the aquariums themselves. If a feed is dark, the lights are off wherever it lives.
